Leading off this years incredible lineup of Brylor Semen Sales’
Red Angus Sires is, to put it simply ...Amazing!!!!. Squall has it
all when you consider his unmatched performance, 77 lb.
birthweight to a 802 lb. adj. weaning weight and out of a first
calf heifer. Now look at
his awesome profile, his strength of character up through his
front end, and his calving ease head and powerful muscling in his
lower quarter. His first calves are just starting to arrive now
and confirm his place under the sun as one of 2008`s best choices
for heifers.
Squall is sired by Pasquale, a $14,250 bull in our ‘06 bull sale
to ALC, Get-A-Long & Brox, and likely our biggest genetic loss in
our 45 year history. His last 50 U.S. straws sold at Denver ‘08
for $200/unit.
The paternal grandsire, Stallion 46M, was the ‘04 Farmfair Supreme
Grand Champion Bull. Squall, himself, was a class winner at both
the 2007 Farmfair and Agribition shows.
A light birthweight bull that can run with the power bulls, Squall
was Brylor`s 2007 syndication bull to Bar 5, Chinook Arch, Scott
Graham, JAS, Riley & Tulley & WRAZ. He sold for 1/3 interest &
possession to Fineline for $35,000 and then serviced all Nick`s
heifers before being resold to Ringstead and Kuntz again for
$35,000 in Nick & Lorraine`s dispersal.
