     It’s been a great honor and privilege to have been the breeder and owner of New Trend and to have such great partners to help me promote him. First Todd David bought one half of him in 1997 and then we sold 1/3 of this legendary sire of unfathomable proportions to Arnold Tonies of T-S Cattle Co. for $25,000 in the 2000 “All A.I.’ed” Sale. In the T-S Dispersal of 2002, he then traded for just an in-herd semen interest at $20,000 to Robert Lassitter of Triple X Red Angus.
     Many many trees would have to be killed in order of write all of his accomplishments down and highlight all of his greatest calves in picture form. New Trend 22D would and should be mentioned in the same breathe as such breed legends as Choctaw Chief 373, Red High Price, Premeir Patriot 16, Zama PIne 37S, Rambo 502, Ankonian Dynamo, King Rob, Dynastar 19S & Red Knight.
     In the recent SDL/4 Seasons Dispersal and the Brylor “Tradition With A Vision” 2006, twenty six direct daughters averaged just slightly under $5000. A son also just topped the “Manitoba Magic Sale” at $8500 from T-K. By the way... there won’t be a special promotion on New Trend this fall so get your straws now!
