     I had the scare of my career last summer when, upon hearing Master Plan was hurt seriously, I immediately checked my account - panic set in when the report came back and revealed I’d sold down to a precious 44 straws! Master Plan was the #1 volume sales sire at Brylor Semen Sales in 2006 and we sold down to a low level. Master Plan was the 2003 Canadian highest selling bull of all time at $92,000 to Red Rock and “The Master Planners”. Thanks to Terry White and his incredibly caring and capable staff at Alta, Master Plan just may be able to breed cows again and we have a good supply of semen for our customers once again.
     His dam, 66K, is one of my favorite “40X” daughters and now she holds Brylor’s record for high selling female at $31,000 in “Tradition With A Vision” ‘06 to Abraham Land & Cattle (Innisfail) and Graham Farms (St. Mary’s, Ontario). She’s a full sister to the great 815J cow as well.
     Master Plan had a daughter sell for $12,000 to Walnut Springs & Coley in the U.S.A. and a son, Grand Design, sell for $7100 from Abraham Land & Cattle. Ringsteads’ high selling bull at $8000 was a son to Jewel and no one will ever forget Papa Jack at Red Round-up 2006 sweeping the ring on three Master Plan heifer calves at $5000 each!
     Possibly the greatest attribute Master Plan passes on to his calves is the most delicious, desirable, blood red color the industry has ever seen!
